Providing the Most Appropriate Service

Frequently, when people come to see me for massage therapy, they want to know about their body’s health and what I can do for them. For example, many people ask how massage can help with pain relief or how it can help them sleep better. I enjoy working with my clients to discover the best ways that I can provide relief from various types of pain. Sometimes a person will have sore muscles and I will work on those areas as well as any other areas where there is also discomfort. The client can always tell me if they are experiencing any other types of pain, such as joint pain or headaches so that we may incorporate these additional services into the session. The whole point of providing someone with a therapeutic massage is to focus on their needs and provide them with comfort and relaxation in whatever way seems best suited for them at the time. It is not uncommon for someone undergoing treatment at my office who was originally only experiencing back pain to also end up feeling less anxious or more energized after our session together! In order to make sure that everyone leaves my office feeling better than they arrived, I take time before each appointment to get an idea of a client’s specific needs so that I may provide the most appropriate service.
